	Historical Perspective This is actually an old page that's been bouncing around the web for years--we just noticed it--funny how that happens. Anyway, the new page is here. The site still celebrates candid nudity in the home, on vacation, wherever people tend to "get naked" in a friendly way, even if in private.		Nudism is synonymous with "body freedom," the label for a movement that began in late twenties and early thirties in Germany. Descendants of that movement can now be found subscribing to the "FKK" philosophy that there is nothing wrong with nudity, and, in fact, some things are simply more fun to do in the nude. Plus, nudists acquire an attitude of body acceptance (no shame) and feel freer to just be themselves. As often as not, health clubs in Germany today have no segregated locker rooms, showers, swimming pools or saunas—a spirit of "coed" nudity and nudist activity is pervasive. The fact that nudism is here to stay and is growing in popularity is irrevocable. Nudism, perennially considered an outdoor activity, has now found a new expression in the home. We're pleased to present the evidence. You wanted privacy? The digital camera menace (and now—camera phones) is growing...	There are reasons not to cook in the nude, and then again there reasons that make doing so more fun.


		More home-based spas, saunas and hot tubs make casual nudity commonplace.	Casual Attire	Communal nudity isn't quite yet the norm in America, but is in Europe, where subjects in this photo enjoy al fresco dining.
